Wireless technologies have had a long boom and development in recent years. One that has had a great development has been wireless. Since its inception in the late 70's has greatly revolutionized the activities we do daily. Cell phones have become a primary tool for ordinary people and business, makes them feel safer and more productive.
Although cellular telephony was designed strictly for voice cellular technology today is able to provide other services such as data, audio and video with some limitations. However, tomorrow's wireless will enable applications that require increased consumption of bandwidth.
Martin Cooper pioneered this technology, it is considered "the father of mobile telephony" to enter the first radio in 1973, the United States while working for Motorola, but it was not until 1979 when the first commercial systems in Tokyo, Japan by NTT.
In 1981, the Nordic countries introduced a cellular system similar to AMPS (Advanced Mobile Phone System). On the other hand, in the U.S., thanks to the regulator in that country adopted rules for the creation of a cell phone commercial in 1983 was put into operation the first commercial system in the city of Chicago.
With that starting point, in several countries has spread mobile telephony as an alternative to conventional wireless telephony.
