A tool for writing in the classroom
Here we present a simple tool to read and write in the classroom. It is the combination of image reading and rewriting the message conveyed by the image.
This exercise allows students to try a way to read images sometimes communicate more than words. Also this type of activity encourages the participant to exercise and development of narrative, description and key sequences of the writing process also involves the development of inferential processes associated with reading.

Instructions:
1. Divide into pairs by a dynamic group.
2. Already established couples, they provide a caricature model of Quino (Joaquín Salvador Lavado) to be read or interpreted.
3. Later they were shown and read a narrative model that is born from the cariactura they have in their hands.
4. It presents, explains and clarifies the narrative model and its relation to the original cartoon. It talks about the conventions of writing.
5. They were then given to each couple a new cartoon. And they ask each partner to build the narrative or story that reported the new cartoons that they have provided.
6. Finished writing exercise, read and reviewed the written narratives that have been produced for each pair of students. It is important that each story is accompanied by the image that originated, as this will serve to contrast this with the image and what was said by the word.
7. You can exchange stories resulting from the different partners in order to comment and appreciate the accomplishments of each pair of students.
