The primitive function of carrier pigeons to communicate was the historical performances and victories for the record of the greatness of some characters we know very well through of the history books. It all started 2800 years before Christ, when the birds flew strongly and decorating the sky over many cities. 
Some war events were resorted to this ancient means of communication to notify triumphs and failures at the top. In the First World War, our feathered friends were a real privilege for those who held them. Also present at the Battle of Waterloo and, at the time the Second World War, it was they who announced the landing of Normandy to the French but the Germans were to intercept the information. But the news was not the only thing carrying: in times of peace were used by hospitals to send blood samples to different laboratories. Their work has ensured that effective today, the armies of various countries have thousands of copies reserved for special missions, for safety and confidence they have shown.
